Food Security Programs at the Market
We Accept EBT/SNAP
Fresh Food Access & Food Security are very important to GFM board and staff and contributes additional income to local farmers and producers. Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. (GFM) is proud to offer the Market Match Token Program on Saturdays from 8am – 11:30am. Funding for the program is secured by GFM, Inc. through local foundation support, individual donations from community members, and through GFM Honor Card sales.
Fresh Food Orange Card Token Program
Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. (GFM) is proud to continue in partnership with Guilford Community Care Network’s (GGCN) Orange Card Program to provide farm fresh food to residents. Orange Card beneficiaries will receive $10 in tokens weekly to shop the Market for fresh foods. Tokens are distributed at the Information Hub from 8am – 11:30am on Wednesdays through October 12 and year-round Saturdays.
