Welcome back!
Did you know your business can offer more than products?
Whether you’re teaching a workshop, hosting a demonstration, offering tastings, signing books, or participating in a special event, your Vendor Events help customers discover experiences they’ll enjoy.
People love learning, exploring, and connecting with the people behind the products. Sharing your events is another great way to invite customers to visit your booth and become part of your story.
Let’s learn how to share your next event!
Why This Matters
Events create excitement and give customers another reason to visit the market.
A cooking demonstration, a pottery workshop, a wellness consultation, or a seasonal activity can transform a shopping trip into a memorable experience.
By sharing your Vendor Events through the Vendor Portal, your activities become visible to customers who are planning their visit. This helps increase awareness of your business while adding value to the entire market community.
Every event you share helps create a more vibrant and engaging market for everyone.

Creating and Sharing Vendor Events
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to create a Vendor Event so customers can discover upcoming classes, demonstrations, tastings, and other special activities.
Let’s Do It Together
Let’s create a Vendor Event.
- Open your Vendor Dashboard.
- Select Vendor Events.
- Click Add New Event.
- Enter your event title, date, time, and description.
- Add a photo if appropriate.
- Save or submit your event.
Now your customers have another reason to visit your booth!
⭐ Special Note
Make your event title clear and inviting.
Instead of:
Workshop
Try something more descriptive:
- Beginner Sourdough Bread Class
- Summer Floral Arrangement Demonstration
- Children’s Nature Craft Activity
- Essential Oil Blending Workshop
- Meet the Artist
- Fresh Peach Tasting
- Herbal Tea Sampling
A clear title helps customers quickly understand what your event offers and encourages them to learn more.
Curbie’s Business Insight
People remember experiences long after they’ve forgotten prices.
When customers participate in a class, watch a demonstration, or enjoy a tasting, they create memories—and memorable experiences often lead to lasting customer relationships.
Even small events can make a big impression. Don’t underestimate the value of sharing your knowledge, your passion, or a behind-the-scenes look at what you do.
Sometimes the experience becomes the reason customers return again and again.
Action Step
If you have an upcoming class, demonstration, tasting, or special activity, create a Vendor Event in the Vendor Portal.
If you don’t have one planned yet, spend a few minutes brainstorming one simple activity you could offer during a future market.
Checklist
By the end of this lesson, you should be able to say:
- I know where to create a Vendor Event.
- I understand how events help attract customers.
- I can write a clear and inviting event title.
I’m ready to promote future activities through the Vendor Portal.
