The public is invited to the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market’s Annual Chili Fundraiser, Saturday, January 26th from 9am until noon, while supplies last. Guest chef Patrick Roby of M’Coul’s Public House, Greensboro’s favorite Irish pub (110 W McGee St, Downtown Greensboro) will be stewing up some mouth-watering chili. Options include Pork & Green Hash Chili as well as a Jack Fruit & Banana Blossom Chili (vegetarian option) each topped with an optional Cilantro lime crema and side of Old Mill at Guilford cornbread will be served. A suggested donation of $5 for a small bowl and $7 for a large bowl. A quart take home is available as well. . The event will start at 9 am and all proceeds benefit the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market. Bring a friend and enjoy local live music by Laura Jane Vincent from 9 am to noon and some warm tasty chili to start your Saturday. All fundraising events are held on  first come, first served while supplies last! Proceeds from monthly fundraisers benefit Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit and underwrite market operations to subsidize vendor table costs and food security programs.

Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. (GFM) operates the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market on behalf of the City of Greensboro. GFM is a 501c3 nonprofit. GFM provides greater Greensboro with opportunities to purchase and learn about local food and setting. GFM encourages and supports the growth of local foods and artisan goods businesses to improve greater Greensboro’s economy, support better health through healthy eating and build social and community connections.

Location and Hours of Operation:
The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday 8 am- 12 pm (April 17 – October 30). The Market is an indoor facility with free admission, WiFi, and plenty of free parking as well as an ATM on site.
