The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market (501 Yanceyville St.) will host the annual “Love Your Local” French Toast Breakfast fundraiser this Saturday, Feb. 10th beginning at 8 am.
Guest Chefs Mary Lacklen and Jay Pierce will be serving French Toast made with Massey Creek Farm fresh eggs and Piedmont International sourdough artisan bread with a variety of toppings to choose from, including Quaker Acres Apiaries Honey, jams from Sweet Morning Farms, and Chardonnay Caramel Sauce from Warner Foods, and more.
The French Toast Breakfast fundraiser is a minimum $5.00 per plate donation. Proceeds benefit the Greensboro Farmers Market, the non-profit that manages the Market. Proceeds go to underwrite market operations, subsidizing vendor table costs, food security programs, local food tasting supplies and local music for your enjoyment.
