Greensboro, NC – The public is invited to celebrate fall’s favorite fruit at the Apple Pancake & Celebration Day at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market (501 Yanceyville Street) on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 8:00 am until 11:30, while supplies last. Guest Chefs Alex and Tim Amoroso of Cheesecakes by Alex will prepare their famous light and fluffy pancakes made with their signature apple and spice recipe. Pancake plates at this breakfast fundraiser are a minimum donation of $5 per person. A la carte options include a Neese’s Country Sausage or bacon for $2.
Apple Pancake & Celebration Day is hosted by Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. (GFM) and will be held inside Cooks’ Corner Kitchen in the Market, with ample seating inside and outside the Market. Patrons will also enjoy live music (8 -9am) with Finn Phoenix followed by Elliott Humphries (9:15- 12pm). Customers can celebrate the fall harvest by shopping for local produce and products, seasonal pies, fruit pies, and autumn potted plants.
