The public is invited to attend the Biscuit Breakfast Bar on Saturday, March 17th from 8:00 to 11:30 am, while supplies last. Chef Chris Scalici of Artistic Cuisine Culinary Creations will be serving fresh, made from scratch biscuits. The biscuits offer a true taste of the south featuring North Carolina’s ownLindley Mills flour and finished with variety of market sourced and locally produced toppings.
The Biscuit Bar will feature sweet and savory options including:
• Neese Country Sausage and Bacon
• Sweet Mornings Farm jams and jellies
• Wolf Daddy Foods Pimento Cheese “Howling Wolf” pimiento cheese
• Quaker Acre Apiaries local honey
• Chef’s savory special topping “Garlic-Asiago Herbed Butter”
The cost of the Biscuit Breakfast Bar fundraiser starts at $5.00 per plate donation and available first come, first serve. The brunch includes a generous biscuit and choice of toppings. Proceeds will benefit the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market to directly support operations, food security programs and supplies for local food demonstrations.
The Biscuit Breakfast Bar will be served in the Cooks Corner Learning Café with exciting live music from Andy Squint & the Zydeco Rouxsters (8:00 – 11:00am).
