Greensboro, NC – Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. (501 Yanceyville Street) will host its first ever Peach Pancake and Celebration Day on Saturday July 28, from 8 am – 11:30 am, or until supplies last, on the Lindsay Street lawn.\
Guest Chef Alex Amoroso of Cheesecakes by Alex will be serving fresh Market peach compote on top of light fluffy pancakes for a donation of $5 per plate. A Neese’s sausage patty will be available a la carte for $2. Fresh Peach Tea will also be available for purchase. All proceeds from this breakfast fundraiser benefit the Greensboro Farmers Market, a non- profit organization. Cash and Credit Cards are accepted. Patrons can sit at the picnic tables or bring a blanket to sit on the Lawn. Live jazz tunes by Griffin Ross will be enjoyed from 8 am- 9:30 am followed by folks and blues played by Dean Driver from 10 am- 11:30 am outside weather permitting.
Market peach growers Leonard’s Orchard (Cana, VA), Phillips Farm (Cheraw, SC), Kalawi Farm (Eagle Springs, NC), Pee Dee Orchards (Lilesville, NC), Miss Angels Farm (Mt. Airy, NC), and Chappell’s Farm (Eagle Springs, NC) will provide juicy, ripe peaches for purchase. Many peach products will be available across the Market on this Peach Celebration Day.

The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday 8 am- 1 pm (April 18 – December 19).
