Creamy Grits Recipe

INGREDIENTS

Yield: 8 to 10 servings

Creamy Grits
3 cups of water (chicken stock can be used for richer flavor)
3 cups of Half & Half
2 cups of stone ground grits
1/2 stick of butter
2 tablespoons kosher salt

PREPARATION

Bring water and half and half to a low boil. Add grits, stirring constantly. Cook on medium low heat until thick, about 15 to 20 minutes. Add salt and butter – stir to incorporate.  Adjust seasoning.

Serve hot.
