Fall Seasonal Schedule for Greensboro Farmers Curb Market Mid-Week Wednesday Market
The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, will operate 8:00 am to 1:00 pm every Wednesday, including holidays, through December 31st. The Mid-Week Market will be held each Wednesday including the day before Thanksgiving on November 26, Christmas Eve on December 24th, and New Year’s Eve on December 31st for shopper’s convenience.
The market is popular for seasonal vegetables, fresh turkey order pick up, flower arrangements, freshly prepared deli items, last minute hostess gifts, and desert items which can also be special ordered in advance. What better way to wake up than with a freshly prepared cinnamon rolled topped with pecans on a holiday morning alongside pasture raised eggs and breakfast sausage!
The Greensboro Farmers Market had a successful spring and summer season which included several new entrepreneurs, freshly prepared lunches available to go or dine on site, Cafegency Coffee Truck, and a free pilot shuttle service from downtown.
While the Mid-Week Market is a smaller more intimate shopping experience than the robust Saturday market, for all practical purposes every food group is represented:
Fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables produced from several farms and green houses, eggs, butter, milk, ice cream, pasture raised pork and chicken, NC seafood, honey, baked goods, prepared sauces, deli staples such as pimento cheese and chicken salads, flowers, plants, gift cards, and handcrafted soaps.
Check our Facebook page or sign up for the e-newsletter at gsofarmersmarket.org for updates regarding vendor product updates, food trucks, lunch options and participating vendors during our holiday markets.
The Greensboro Farmers Market operates year round on Saturdays 7am to 12 noon and seasonally on Wednesday 8am to 1:00 pm.
