Dear Market Friends,

This afternoon, the City of Greensboro provided an update altering operations in the wake of COVID-19. The announcement came in response to the Guilford County Division of Public Health’s
confirmation of the first positive COVID-19 case in the county.

At this time, all Parks & Recreation facilities are closed to the
public due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market has also been suspended.

No timetable has been set to reopen the facilities.

What Now?
It’s time to pivot, not panic. We will work together to ensure the fresh food supply chain continues to thrive.

GFM will provide a strong communication “machine” to connect customers to Vendors in this challenging time. We will get creative and continue to create new ways to support our local business community.

The Market has been an epicenter for farmers, food, and friends since 1874. We will come back together as soon as we can open our doors.
Until then, our management is working on compiling a directory to keep you connected to the Vendors. We will have updates soon!

In good health,
Lee Mortensen, Executive Director & Market Manager
