The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, will host an Apple Pancake & Celebration Day on Saturday Nov. 19, 8 am – 11:30 am honoring this seasonal fall fruit.

Admission to the event is free and apple samples will be offered in the Harvest Learning Cafe. Guest chef Alex Amoroso of Cheesecakes by Alex will serve delicious apple pancakes made with Ward’s Farm Fresh Eggs and a choice of toppings. The plates are $5.00 with proceeds benefiting the Market.

Patrons can enjoy music by local artist, Carrie Pazdziora,  at 9:45.

Samples will include these varieties as well as heirloom apples from Leonard’s Orchard: Turley Winesap (heirloom), Royal Limber Twig (heirloom), Arkansas Black (heirloom), Red & Golden Delicious, Rome, Stayman, Granny Smith, Gala, Blonde Gala, and York. Find Leonard’s Orchard at Aisle C table 52 every Saturday.

Vendors across the Market will offer seasonal, apple inspired products so look for the red & green balloons. You don’t want to miss this delicious fun event!
