Greensboro Farmers Curb Market Hosts Farmer Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 6th, 8 AM – 11:30 AM

The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville St., is hosting its annual Farmer Appreciation Day to show the community’s support of local farmers, food, and friends. Join us for a morning of a choice of Neese’s Country sausage or Phillip’s Brothers country ham, Old Mill of Guilford grits, Massey Creek Farms eggs, biscuits from LOAF Bakery, fried potatoes & onions, sausage gravy, red-eye gravy, and sliced tomatoes. There will be jams and jellies from Leonard’s Orchards, Rudd Farm, and others, as well as honey from Quaker Acres Apiaries.

The meal is being prepared by Chef Alex Amoroso of Cheesecakes by Alex. Many of the food items are donated by our regular vendors at the market including the Old Mill of Guilford, Massey Creek Farms, Leonard’s Orchards, Rudd Farm, Quaker Acres Apiaries, and LOAF Bakery.

Tea Hugger and Café al Grano will be out on the lawn with beverages for purchase.

A plate costs $8 with proceeds to benefit the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market.

Enjoy live music all morning long performed by Torn Corners from 8 AM – 11 AM. Torn Corners is a Burlington-based acoustic band covering many blues/reggae/rock songs from the past 60 years.
