Greensboro, August 14, 2014 – The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market is hosting its annual Farmer Appreciation Day to show the community’s support of local farmers, food, and friends. Join us for a Southern traditional breakfast of eggs, grits, fried potatoes & onions, biscuits, sausage gravy, red-eye gravy, sliced tomatoes, and a choice ofsausage or country ham.

Breakfast is being prepared by chef Alex Amoroso of Cheesecakes by Alex. A plate costs $8, and proceeds are to benefit the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market.  Food is served until we run out!

Tea Hugger and Café al Grano will be out on the lawn with beverages for purchase.

There will be live music from 8 AM til 11 AM performed by Torn Corners, a Burlington-based acoustic band covering blues/reggae/rock classics of the past 60 years.

Volunteers are needed for this event to serve food to the farmers and vendors inside as well as other tasks. Those interested may sign up at our SignUp Genius page.
