Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, located at 501 Yanceyville St, will be open outside tomorrow on the Lindsay Street Parking lot.
Please join us to purchase great food and support small family farms and businesses. More than 30 vendors will be participating to provide staples including farm-fresh local produce, eggs, dairy, meat, cheeses, baked goods, and a host of prepared foods.
The Market is following the recommended precautionary and proactive measures to address the COVID19 concerns of our community. Based on CDC guidelines, we encourage anyone who is experiencing any symptoms or is otherwise ill, anyone with underlying medical issues (particularly chronic issues like heart or lung disease and diabetes), and anyone who feels more at risk due to age or other personal circumstances to not attend.
Please note these good practices for shopping Market during this time:
Per Vendor request, please only pick up items you will be purchasing or ask for assistance
Use hand sanitizer, bring your own or use stations located by the bathrooms and ATM
Avoid shaking hands, greet with a smile or “elbow bump” instead
Sneeze or cough into elbow or sleeve when tissues are not available
We are providing:
Bathrooms access and the ATM will be accessible from the Yanceyville Street entrance.
Hand sanitizing stations can be found by the bathrooms and ATM.
An exterior handwashing station will be located near the lawn.
We have intentionally placed Vendors comply with the social distancing recommendation of 6 feet.
We are plan to offer SNAP and Orange Card tokens for our food-insecure customers. Farmer Foodshare has communicated its concerns and decided to suspend Donation Station operations at all locations across the state.
Customer parking will be located on Homeland Avenue and at the War Memorial ballfield. Please note the Lindsay Street lot will not be open for customer parking.
