Greensboro, NC – Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc., (GFM) is excited to announce current and upcoming changes with GFM Staff.
GFM welcomes Kate Langley as Food Security Program Coordinator in a newly created to position. She will be responsible for fundraising for and coordinating the GFM Food Security Programs. Kate holds an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies at UNCG and has worked with two Greensboro non-profits, Action Greensboro and GCSTOP, through which she gained experience in community outreach and engagement. Kate is passionate about creating inclusive and equitable spaces that encourage confidence in one’s community, loves gardening, and spending time with friends and family.
Angie Blomer will join the organization as Assistant Manager in December. Angie Blomer spent the first 20 years of her career in premium-brand customer service and corporate training. Always a foodie and backyard grower, she changed paths and pursed a degree in Sustainable Agriculture from CCCC in Pittsboro. She owned/operated a small local foods market in Kernersville and previously worked for GFCM as Local Foods Coordinator through the USDA Local Foods Promotion Program. Angie is a passionate advocate for local food, farms and arts, loves to cook, teaches “body-positive” yoga and enjoys spending her free time with friends and family.
Current Assistant Manager Carolyn Hulsey will be moving to California in the New Year; she is grateful for the past 4 years of Market community and excited to continue to support the Market as a shopper and community advocate.

The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday 8 am- 12 pm (season starts on April 22, 2020). The Market is an indoor facility with free admission, WiFi, and plenty of free parking as well as an ATM on site.
