GREENSBORO, NC– The public is invited to shop tomorrow, Wednesday, September 12th to support their local farmers. Available items include: eggs, bread, milk, freshly picked produce, pastured meats (beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and goat), seafood, as well as local cut flowers, potted plants, and artisan goods.

• Massey Creek Farms: eggs, milk, and knife sharpening
• Mindenhill Farms: potted plants and seasonal produce
• Providence Farm: pasture-raised chicken
• Rudd Farm: seasonal produce
• Rumley Cottage: figs and handcrafted bouquets
• Rural Hall Produce: seasonal produce and honey
• NC Fresh Seafood: fresh coastal fish, shrimp, oysters, plants, flowers, and more
• Smith Century Farm: seasonal produce and more
• Smith Farms: seasonal produce
• Timber and Sprout: wooden craft planters and herb starters
• Quaker Acre Apiaries: local honey, beeswax candles, honey vinegar, wood crafts
• Feebert’s Gluten-Free Bakery: gluten free baked sweet and savory baked goods
• Granolicious: granola in several varieties made from Lindley Mills oats
• River’s Finest: home-made blueberry jam and more
• Poppy’s Food: fresh pickles in mild, medium, and hot
• Sir Charles and Queen Carmen Gourmet Sauces: tasty sauces from mild to hot
• Zaytoons: mediterranean baked goods and specialties
What is available? Fruits: apples, peaches, scuppernongs, muscadines, figs, melons, and more. Vegetables: lettuce, peppers, corn, melon, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, eggplant, butternut squash, summer squash, tomatoes, beans, peas, collard greens, sweet potatoes, potatoes, okra, herbs and more. Please note that all produce availability is subject to weather.
Also available tomorrow during Mid-Week Market: Cooking Demonstration and Wellness Class with Partners 4 Community Care. Patrons are invited to drop by the cooking demonstration with Registered Dietitians Caitlin Romm and Sheri Vettel to chat about nutrition and taste a sample of Cinnamon and Herb Apple Nachos starting at 10 am.
Due to potential impact due to Hurricane Florence any changes made to Saturday Market plans will be posted on the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market Facebook page and website. GFM, Inc. prioritizes the safety of GFM vendors, customers, and staff in situations of severe and inclement weather where there is a higher chance of falling trees, damage to power lines, and flooding.
Hours of Operation
The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday (April 18th – December 19th). Mid-Week Market hours are currently Wednesdays from 8am -1pm and fall hours (8 to 12 noon) will commence on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.
