Stop by the Greensboro Farmers’ Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville St. in Greensboro, on Saturday for a taste of homemade pesto.

From 9 to 11 a.m., chefs Mary Lacklen and John Jones will prepare fresh pesto from market basil and offer free samples of it in ravioli and on fresh baguette slices.

The tasting is just one of many planned for the summer and fall with support from the Davis Education Fund of the N.C. Herb Society.

Mark your calendar for Blueberry Pancake Day on July 16 at the market.
