Market Management
Theresa Mattiello
Market Manager
Originally born and raised in the Washington D.C. Metro area, Theresa moved to Greensboro in 2006. She has an Associate’s in Advertising and Graphic Design from GTCC and has worked for a number of renown local businesses, including Undercurrent Restaurant in downtown Greensboro. She began her Market journey in 2014 when she became a vendor representative for Tea Hugger and worked with them for four years. After the pandemic, she came back to work for GFM. She began as the Food Security Associate and Social Media Coordinator and worked at the Market Info Hub on Saturdays. It was great to be back at the Market with many familiar and new faces after the time away. In July of 2023, she was promoted to Interim Market Manager and was officially named Market Manager in November 2023. She is very excited to fill her new role and looks forward to growing the Market so that it will thrive and exist for generations to come. Theresa has long-term visions of owning and operating her own urban micro-farm and in her spare time works in her own flower and vegetable garden, learning everything she can! She lives in Glenwood and when not at the Market enjoys walking her two dogs, Bacon and Lily, and cuddling with her cat, Merlin.
