Greensboro, NC – The public is invited to celebrate the fall harvest at the Pumpkin Pancake & Celebration Day at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 8:00 am until 11:30, while supplies last.
Guest Chefs Alex and Tim Amoroso of Cheesecakes by Alex will prepare their famous light and fluffy pancakes made with their special recipe of pumpkin, spices and pecans. Pancake plates at this breakfast fundraiser are a minimum donation of $5 per person. A la carte options include a Neese’s Country Sausage patty for $2.
Pumpkin Pancake & Celebration Day is hosted by Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. (GFM) an will be held on the Market lawn on Lindsay Street with live music from Julien McCarthy from 8 am to 9 am and followed by John Stevens, Sentimental Johnny (9:15 -11:15). Patrons can enjoy community seating on the lawn or bring picnic blankets and are welcome to enjoy fun activities (hoola hoops, lawn games) for all ages. Celebrate the fall harvest by shopping for local produce and products, seasonal pies, fruit pies, and autumn potted plants.
GFM fundraising events are first come, first served and help to provide vital funds to Market operations and five food security programs at GFM, Inc., a 501-c3 non-profit organization. To learn about volunteer and giving options visit the GFM website’s “Support” section.

The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday 8 am- 12 pm (April 17- October 30). The Market is an indoor facility with free admission, WiFi, and plenty of free parking as well as an ATM on site.
