GREENSBORO, N.C. — Who has the best burger in Greensboro? You’ll be the judge this weekend at theGreensboro Farmers Curb Market.

The 1st Annual Best Burger Challenge is this Saturday, June 18 at 9 a.m. on the lawn at The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market.

Emma Key’s, Libby Hill Seafood Restaurants, Melt Kitchen & Bar, and Burger Warfare will compete for the title with their delicious creations.

Folks will have the chance to sample burgers from the restaurants and then vote for their favorite.

They’ll also enjoy live music out by Louis Allen and the Ol’ Folkie beginning at 9 a.m.

The cost is $5 per plate with proceeds benefiting the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market. This event will be first come first serve.

You’ll also have the chance to buy pasture raised meats from the farmers and check out the produce in season this month.

And you’ll be able to talk all things burgers with local blogger and burger aficionado, Master of Ceremonies Randy Barnes (hamburgersquare.com).

Author Billy Ingram will also join in on the fun with tales of Greensboro’s history as told through his book, Hamburger2.
