Greensboro, NC –The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market (501 Yanceyville St.) announces the beginning of “Music Makers at the Market,” a Summer Busking Series to support local musicians. The Market is recognized as hub of activity and gathering for the community; a longtime Greensboro tradition every Saturday and seasonally on Wednesdays and shopping destination for local products direct from the farmer, food artisan, or crafter. The Market proudly provides fresh food and artisan goods to over 150,000 patrons annually.
The Market offers several opportunities for local musicians; beginning in early May and continuing throughout November the outdoor busking opportunities (weather permitting) are available to local musicians looking for an eager audience. Anchor vendors, coffee, and picnic tables are an active part of market footprint on the Lindsay Lawn and offer a wonderful morning experience every Saturday.

Two shifts are available on Saturdays, the first taking place from 8 am to 10 am and the second following from 10 am to 12 noon. All musicians are invited to sell relevant merchandise such as CDs, t-shirts, and stickers. On average tips are approximately $35 or more depending on interaction and musician performance. Available dates as of this announcement are July 6, July 13, July 27, August 3, August 24, August 31, September 14, September 21, September 28, October 5, October 19, October 26, and November 2.

The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesdays 8 am- 12 pm (April 17 – October 30).
