Greensboro, NC – The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market (GFM) will host the first ever lunch fundraiser on September 1st, 2018 from 11am – 2 pm on the lawn at the corner of Lindsay & Yanceyville St (501 Yanceyville Street). The Market will be open regular hours from 7 am – 12 noon.

Customers are invited to celebrate the end of summer and the long Labor Day weekend at the Market with NC sourced Burgers & Brews. Chef Jay Pierce of Mozelle’s Fresh Southern Bistro will be cooking up tasty sliders and handcrafted beer from Foothills Brewing will be available for purchase in a souvenir GFM cup. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Burger plates include 2 sliders with a side of Sir Charles Gourmet Sauce, a Market salad featuring seasonal vegetables and fresh Melon for $7. This fun event will be from 11 am – 2 pm (first come, first serve; while supplies last) and is family friendly with corn hole, games, and fun for kids of all ages. Customers can enjoy live music from Mike Daniels playing old-school country and western from 11 am – 2 pm.

NC Cattlemen’s Association will have information available on North Carolina beef. Burgers & Brews is sponsored in part by Foothills Brewing and the N.C. Department of Agriculture.

The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday 8 am- 1 pm (April 18- December 19th). The Market is an indoor facility with free admission, WiFi, and plenty of free parking as well as an ATM on site.
