Greensboro, NC – The public is invited to Homeschool Day on Wednesday, September 19th from 9 am to noon at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market (GFM) at 501 Yanceyville Street.
Homeschool Day is a fun and interactive day for homeschool families and community members. Patrons may participate in a seasonal cooking demonstration with Natalie Foster of Cornerstone Garlic Farm, Discovery Time readings with the Kathleen Clay Library, and a self-guided Market scavenger hunt. Homeschool student and musician Caleb Foster will be playing live music on the lawn and picnic seating and self-guided children’s activities will also be available on the lawn, weather permitting.
Crumley Roberts will also be on the Lawn with their Kid Zone Program. This program is to educate young children and families about safety, promote healthy habits and encourage wellbeing, proper nutrition and physical activity. Homeschool Day at GFM is a great way for families to connect with other homeschool families and to meet new friends. Free activities and giveaways will be available for children and parents.

Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. (GFM) operates the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market on behalf of the City of Greensboro. GFM is a 501c3 nonprofit. GFM provides greater Greensboro with opportunities to purchase and learn about local food and setting. Location and Hours of Operation
The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday, Mid-Week Market 8 am- 1 pm (April 18– December 19). Mid-Week Market hours are currently Wednesdays from 8am -1pm and fall hours (8 to 12 noon) will commence on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. The Market is an indoor facility with free admission, WiFi, and plenty of free parking as well as an ATM on site.
