Greensboro, NC-The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market (501 Yanceyville St.) will host the annual “Love Your Local” French Toast Breakfast Saturday, February 15th beginning at 8 am and while supplies last. Bring your Valentine’s favorites for a great market breakfast!
Chef Chris Scalici, of Artistic Cuisine Culinary Creations, will be serving market-style French toast. This delicious breakfast favorite will be made with a rich custard base of farm-fresh eggs from Massey Creek Farms, and artisan sourdough bread from Piedmont International Bakery. Minimum suggested donation is $4 for one slice, $7 for two slices of French toast with a variety of toppings, including jams from Sweet Morning Farms. A side of Neese Country Sausage can be purchased for an additional $2. Orange juice and water will be available for additional purchase as well. Hot coffee and tea can be purchase with Market vendors. Cash payment is preferred, credit cards are accepted.
The event will be held in Market Café Kitchen and will offer patrons a festive atmosphere with live music starting at 9 am, featuring local gypsy jazz music with The Minor Swing Band.
All Market events are first come, first served while supplies last. Proceeds from monthly fundraisers benefit Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit, to underwrite market operations and to subsidize vendor table cost and food security programs.

The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesdays 8 am- 12 pm (April 17 – October 30).
