Greensboro, NC – The public is invited to the Pumpkin Pancake and Harvest Celebration Day on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 8:00 am until 11:30 am at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market (501 Yanceyville Street). Celebrate the fall harvest with a special fundraiser and showcase of seasonal local produce by shopping for local produce and products from pumpkins and gourds, fresh pressed cider, seasonal pies, fruit butters, autumnal decor, potted plants, flowers and more.
Guest chef Alex Amoroso of Cheesecakes by Alex will serve his famous light and fluffy pumpkin pancakes, made with his special recipe. Two large pancakes will be served with a choice of toppings. The cost is $5 per plate with an optional side of Neese’s Sausage for an additional $2. This event is first come, first serve and while supplies last.
The event will be held on the Market lawn, rain or shine. Picnic seating is available and additional seating is available inside in Cook’s Corner. Patrons can enjoy live music during the event from 8:00 am – 11:30 am with Larry Davis on acoustic guitar at 8:00 am and Laura Jane Vincent from 10 to 11:30 playing original songs. Children’s activities will be available on the lawn as well.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market a 501-C3 nonprofit organization.

Location and Hours of Operation
The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday, Mid-Week Market 8 am- 12 noon (April 18– December 19). The Market is an indoor facility with free admission, WiFi, and plenty of free parking as well as an ATM on site.
