Greensboro, NC- Patrons are invited to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market (501 Yanceyville Street) this year at the Pre-Thanksgiving Holiday Market on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 8am-12noon.

Customers can find everything they need for a festive and healthy Thanksgiving at the Market. Pre-ordered turkeys will be ready for pick-up as well as a variety of holiday goods:  autumnal flower arrangements, holiday baked specialties, and seasonal produce. One can find all the makings for special meal essentials with favorite farmer and prepared food vendors for pick up before the holiday. The Market will have fresh winter produce as well as NC seafood (oysters, clams, and crabs), roasts, hams, sausage for dressing, cakes, pies and a host of other local goodness like “ready-to-eat” deli sides, handmade jams, jellies, and sauces, perfect for stress-free holidays parties and meals.  Last minute shoppers can also find unique hostess gifts and more from local artisans and crafters.

About the Market
Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. (GFM) is an community 501c3 non-profit that connects farmer, food and friends every week year-round. GFM operates the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market on behalf of the City of Greensboro. GFM provides greater Greensboro with opportunities to purchase and learn about local food in a friendly and diverse setting. GFM encourages and supports the growth of local foods and artisan goods businesses to improve greater Greensboro’s economy, support better health through healthy eating and build social and community connections. Monthly fundraisers feature local, seasonal foods and proceeds help underwrite the cost of vendor tables and food security initiatives led by the non-profit.

Location and Hours of Operation
The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, 501 Yanceyville Street, is located at the corner of Lindsey Street and Yanceyville Street across from the War Memorial Stadium and operates year round on Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm and seasonally on Wednesday 8 am- 12 pm (April 18 – December 19). The Market is an indoor facility with free admission, WiFi, and plenty of free parking as well as an ATM on site.
