How to Apply to GFM
New Applicant Information
Thank you for your interest in the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market. Please review the guidelines and application process outlined below. Please note: We are currently NOT accepting Craft applications. Please check back later in the year (Fall-Winter). We accept applications on a rolling basis. Applications are reviewed periodically by the Board of Directors. Please note: Not all who apply are invited to vend.
GFM is a producer-only market, with all products made or grown within 100 mile radius of Greensboro, NC. All products must meet these criteria. Priority is given to Farmers and fresh foods, followed by food artisans and then craft artisans. Vendors are therefore identified in 3 (three) different categories: FARM, FOOD ARTISAN, or CRAFT ARTISAN. Some Vendors sell in just one category; others sell in more than one. If you are interested in selling in more than one category you must submit separate Vendor Applications and fees for each category.
Please note:
– Certifications, photos, and other support documentation are required to process applications.
– Becoming a Market vendor is very competitive and not all applicants are invited to vend.
GFM reviews all applications and reserves the right to determine whether the prospective products complement those otherwise available at the market, enable GFM to maintain the desired ratio of product types, and satisfy other considerations that affect the larger market community. Prepared foods should, as much as possible, contain locally sourced ingredients and reflect our region and culture, and conform to all food safety/legal requirements. GFM Support of existing GFM vendors and emerging businesses is taken into consideration and category designation given to priority for farm, followed by prepared food artisans, followed by crafters.
