Through partnerships, grants, and community support, the Market offers programs that help individuals and families purchase locally grown food directly from Market vendors.

These programs support both community food access and local farmers.

SNAP / EBT & Market Match

SNAP/EBT benefits can be exchanged for Market tokens during Market hours on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

Tokens never expire.

Tokens may be used with participating vendors for:

fresh produce
meats
eggs
dairy
bread
honey
other eligible food items

Orange Card Program

Through a partnership with Guilford Community Care Network (GGCN), eligible Orange Card holders may receive Market tokens to purchase fresh local foods from participating vendors.

The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program helps eligible seniors purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, and herbs directly from participating Market vendors.
