The roots stem from early days of tobacco farming that eventually was discontinued when our grandparents decided to sell local produce. Our grandmother started attending the market in 1973 and took a leap of faith that this would support them as their sole income. Time passed and the tradition of attending the market was routine for the family. While we are not the larger farm from the 1970’s we continue to strive for local season products. Outside of seasonal produce some special items we continue to carry is Moss and woodland plants along with Wheatgrass for juicing or for your pets. You never know what surprises you will find that we harvest from the farmland.
